Properly Placed Organizing

How does this work and what steps do you follow?
Step 1 - Congratulations! You have already completed the first step on the road to organization
by deciding to use an organizer and choosing Properly Placed Organizing.
Step 2 - Initial Phone Consultation: In our first phone consultation, we will briefly discuss your
areas of need, the reason for getting organized at this time and any organizational challenges you
have experienced in the past. We will then schedule an appointment for a comprehensive Needs
Assessment.
Step 3 - Needs Assessment: The Needs Assessment is conducted in your home or office.
During this time, we will discuss in detail the area that needs to be organized and your ultimate
goal when we are finished. I will evaluate the space and, based on the information gathered, will
develop an action plan. Time permitting, we will also begin organizing a small section of the area
to get the process started.
Step 4 - Organizational Sessions: Depending upon the scope and size of the project, we will
plan to meet to actually organize the space. In general, these sessions are 3 - 4 hours to maximize
our time together.
Step 5 - Final Evaluation: At the completion of the project, we will meet to discuss your
satisfaction and to gain feedback on your experience. I am confident that you will be pleased with
the results.
Step 6 - Follow-Up: Three months after the conclusion of the project, I will contact you either by
email or phone to answer any questions you may have and give you tips and encouragement to
stay organized!
